Anna Kournikova is a former tennis player from Russia who competed for many years in this sport, was once the best female tennis player. Kournikova was an accomplished singles player however she was an extremely successful doubles player and her team with Martina Hingis was widely praised because of its efficiency. She was a finalist in the U.S Open at 15 years old and also the Wimbledon semi-finals when she was 16 years old. Unfortunately, she was forced to stop playing professional tennis at the age of 21 due to of back pain that was severe.
